Acne is a serious condition that can have a lifetime impact if not treated at the right time and the right way.
Hormonal changes trigger acne when puberty hits in both girls and boys. Luckily, some may experience less intense acne, whereas some people do not seem to get out of the acne trap for a long time.
Treating acne is a constant struggle, especially for those who seem to have it for the longest time, despite the fact of, how many treatments they may take.
After spending years of chronic acne problems, I am going to share some skincare tips and tricks to cure/treat your acne in the least expensive way.

Effective ways to treat facial Acne
Skincare is rewarding hard work. These simple easy to follow skin care tips go a long way.
1. Drink lots of water
When I was in my teens I couldn’t understand the importance of drinking water. Everyone suggested to drink water but no one emphasized on benefits of water intake. You SHOULD drink lots of water, at least 8 glasses a day. It cleanses your body from the inside. It helps you stay hydrated, energetic, and healthy.
2. Do not stress
Stressing over trivial issues can actually affect your skin. Stress makes you look dull, fatigued and unhealthy. It certainly gives you a breakout. Try not to stress over anything which is beyond your control.
Acne is co-related to hormonal changes. There are conditions like PCOS, Ovarian cysts, Fibroids, depression, anxiety, a thyroid that result in severe skin conditions.
3. Keep your skin clean
Cleansing is an important step to follow in your skincare. Every night before going to bed, make sure your skin is clean and make-up free.
I highly recommend this cleanser. You can take your make up off using a good cleanser every night.
4. Use good quality make-up products
Whatever makeup you are using, it should be of good quality. You should use a mild scrub to wash off all that dead skin, followed by a good mask and a moisturizer depending on your skin type.
Use clean makeup brushes and sponges. Wash them frequently, do not let bacteria sitting on your make up blenders for too long.
I have recently had a breakout again and it was all because of using the foundation sponge without washing for days. thoroughly wash with soap, dry and then use. Do not keep using the same sponge for more than 2 weeks. Dispose of!
5. Keep your pillows clean
Most of the time acne is caused because of dirty pillow covers. Make sure your pillows covers are clean. You should be washing them very often.
6. Avoid too much massage
If you have oily skin, avoid doing too much massage on your skin. Massage can heat up your body which can lead to a breakout. Secondly, do not use too many milk-based products if you have oily skin.
7. Use a good quality sunscreen
In addition, sunscreen is a must-have regardless of any skin type you have.
8. Use a good quality African Black Soap.
This is a game-changer. A few years back, someone who works at a Spa recommended me to use African Black Soap. I used it a year later and I genuinely wished I knew about it earlier.
For me, African black soap worked significantly. if you have been struggling with acne for the longest time and you have tried everything but nothing worked for you just like nothing seemed to be working for me.
You should give this soap a try. Wash your face twice a day with black soap in the morning and before doing to bed. However, if you feel your skin getting dry apply a good quality moisturizer.
African black soap can be used for the body. IF you are living in the US, It is available almost every store like Walmart, Target, Wegmans, etc. also you can order online and start using it in a couple of days.
9. DO NOT PRICK
I cannot say that enough. Please DO NOT PRICK your pimple.
I know it’s tempting. Been there done that! I regret popping up my pimples. Pricking pimples tend to leave scars that are never going to go away.

Last but not least, try to stay happy and content with what you have. It’s going to make you glow inside out.
